Just received an email from JotSpot as I was member in their affiliate program !!
JOTSPOT IS NOW PART OF GOOGLE; JOTSPOT AFFILIATE PROGRAM DISCONTINUED
VISIT http://affiliates.jot.com for more information
We're writing to let you know that Google has acquired JotSpot, and as a result, JotSpot's affiliate program is being discontinued. You may request payment for past participation in the program.
Why is Google acquiring JotSpot?
JotSpot has demonstrated the potential for mainstream adoption of wikis for online collaboration. JotSpot is a natural fit with other Google offerings that enable people to create and share information on the Web.
Why is the affiliate program being discontinued?
For the next several months we will be focused on integrating JotSpot with Google's infrastructure and building a unified product. During this period, we will be shutting down signups of the JotSpot Wiki, and affiliates will not be able to make referrals to JotSpot. You may leave your JotSpot banners and text links in place, but your referrals will not be taken to a page that allows signups of the JotSpot Wiki.
How can I get paid for past referrals?
Anyone with positive balance on his or her affiliate account is eligible for payment.
To get paid, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your affiliate account at http://affiliates.jot.com/mydb/affiliate.myreferer?M=jotspot
2. Click the "Account Info" link and update your profile with the email address for your Paypal account
3. Click the "Get Paid" link
YOU HAVE UNTIL NOVEMBER 30, 2006 TO UPDATE YOUR PROFILE AND PRESS THE "GET PAID" LINK.
If you have additional questions, please email email@example.com
We thank you for your participation in JotSpot's affiliate program.
